During Construction

LJP provides tailored documentation to comply with and enhance both the builders’ Quality Assurance/Quality Control Program and insurance carrier requirements. All field construction consultants have a minimum of 10 years direct construction/building industry experience with industry related degrees and/or certifications. Our photo documentation observations are scheduled, ensuring that we are at the project at the right time and can conduct a complete observation.

sharkiconField Observations and Photo Documentation verify correct installation of critical assemblies throughout construction and offer a variety of reports to fit your specific needs and particular type of project.

Builder Audit Report and Evaluation (B.A.R.E.) provides a “snapshot” audit of builder’s operations and quality of construction, confirms compliance with industry standards of care, objectively evaluates staff, and provides a tool for your insurance companies to accurately access policies and premiums.

greeniconGreen Building Field Inspections document proper installation of green assemblies and verify that specified materials are implemented during the construction process. Our team of green building consultants includes construction professionals, GreenPoint Raters, LEED for Homes Reps and Raters, HERS Raters, and Building Envelope Inspectors (Quality Insulation Installation, Thermal Bypass Checklist).

greeniconHERS Rating services (including Duct Blasting, Blower Door Testing, Quality Insulation Installation, and Thermal Bypass Checklist) either as a stand-alone service or in conjunction with green field inspections.

captureqaCaptureQA™ is an App designed and engineered by LJP Construction Services for use on the iPad and deployed through the Web. The App provides site visit information to our Clients in real-time with ease of use for their field construction managers. The password protected web-site portal enables Clients to see color coded photos to quickly gauge how their field trade contractors are performing. The logic is simple: Green for good assemblies, Red for deficiencies and Yellow for course-of-construction or scheduling progress. More importantly, with faster reporting time, Clients can quickly track where deviations from architectural plans arise and help identify where workmanship issues are found in the field. This helps enhance production efficiency and provides the ability to produce performance insights by project element and building assembly—another example of LJP leading the way to higher quality construction within a project, between divisions, and across multiple regions.
